I hope you had a great weekend. I've been silent on this email list for a while. But each week I am studying for sermons and seminars and would like to share some of my gleanings with you. I've clarified the focus of this email and I hope and pray that you will stay with me with this new focus.

So with that in mind, allow me to introduce The Ends and Means Email.

The Ends and Means Email is a bi-weekly email exploring God's ends and the means he ordains to accomplish those ends in his world.

Every other week we will explore a topic related to three major themes:

• Gospel, Faith and Culture
• Church and Leadership
• Mission and Disciple Making

Over the years, my email list has grown from a variety of sources: prayer supporters, newsletter referrals, church members, etc. So that I can better understand who I'm emailing and where you're coming from, please reply to this email with answers to the following:

1. Which topic above is of greatest interest to you right now?
2. If you are a Christian, describe your involvement in your local church?
